I am wishing that each of you are happy and healthy as 2023 comes to a close. I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you, who have so graciously and continuously supported my music and recordings. I am so truly grateful for your open hearts and minds.
I hope that my music inspires you to be creative in some way.

For the holiday season, I wanted to give you a fun and unique way to enjoy traveling, late nights after all have went to bed, or early mornings in the headphone forest.

"Blizzard Of ‘78" is a collection of mostly
previously released tracks and a few unreleased.
All winter inspired and freshly HD remastered and available only through the holidays.

A few notes about the album.....


"Rahmenerzählung" - is originally from the "Endless Roads" album.
As well as a featured track on the "Portals" Compilation on Behind The Sky records. Recorded while witnessing a blizzard rip around the studio through the many then uncovered windows. One of the first sessions after installing the studio out here in the country. A session I will always remember. The safety and solitude of winter's calling...
Recorded and mixed on my beloved Tascam MSR-16 tape recorder.

"Wednesday Morning" is dedicated to my daughter Joni.
It was an instant composition I performed while watching her through the studio windows as she played and sled down the rolling hills behind our home. It was a wonderful memory of many a rare and precious snow day.

"Piece for Flute & Organ" was recorded on a cold December morning.
Not exactly sure what year however, It was a nice surprise to stumble across a reel to reel of it, so I thought I'd include it.

"Blizzard Of '78" - Originally from the "Afterimages" disc.
It is dedicated to my mother & father. Judy & Roger and my sister, Deanna. I remember this blizzard very vividly. It was a a true winter wonderland and filled with many rare and dear memories of sledding down frozen streams and building snowmen. Later that evening we would warm up inside and listen to WMMS FM Cleveland. Great memories...

"Country Snowstorm" - is originally from the "December's Pentacle" album. Recorded with my then new SSL mixer and a pair of Sansui 4 channel reel to reels. What a beautiful winter it was out here that year.
So many early morning hikes through the silent, frozen woods. So inspiring to return back to the studio and just hit record. This was one of those sessions. Not a people's favorite album by any stretch, but certainly one of mine. Including the beautiful photography of Tristan Whitney Weary on the cover. Great sessions and the magic of winter's transfiguration.
