Cheyenne Crossing is a tone poem I began composing early October of last year. Inspired by many explorations through the forests and countrysides near my home.

This was a piece of work I intended to build and develop away from the studio. To listen to the frequencies and modulations around me and evoke impressions of them over time. To tell the story of a shapeshifter who finds many spherical & spiritual realizations through the transcendental mirages of the Appalachian wilderness.

Each movement in this album represents a talisman in time over the course of many lives. The oracles are found in the harmonic convergence of the tones one can hear through the silence of the wilderness.

It's a journey through the dream of the shapeshifter.
As we are all prisms & passengers of time through the harmonic cycles of our earth.

This record was both a challenge and immense joy to realize.
It is mostly carefully programmed and placed voices of Moog Modular. Carefully placed in slow, evolving sequences.
Once the recording sessions were finally concluded, I commissioned the immensely multi-talented and creative artist Anne Sulikowski to tell this story through her magical visual art with a short film. I hope that this album and all the elements within evoke some kind of atonement and clarification of our connection to our wise old earth. I've learned many things while striving to realize these pieces. I hope the resonate of these discoveries and aural realizations brings you through a place full of warmth and welcoming.
